The Inside Out latex Straitjacket has a single sleeve for both arms on the inside of the straitjacket. With no external sleeves the arms are held closer across the chest. Arms can move slightly. The idea here is to reduce tension and compression of the upper arm, compared to conventional straitjackets. This helps to limit muscle spasm and pain that some find annoying in long term use. Confinement, sensation is greatly increased both physically and psychologically. Unlike the regular straitjacket with sleeves and loops escapes are very difficult without fully removing the belt buckles and undoing the zipper. Nylon side release buckles need strong hands to release, locks not needed. The LIO-1 is designed for long term, use with minimal buckles to compress the back. |

While it may look like an armbinder on the outside, on the inside it has a single sleeve sewn and glued to the front of the straitjacket body. The interior sleeve opening is just big enough for the each arm to get inside. Once the IO Straitjacket is zipped, arms cannot pull out of sleeves, nor get under the waist or out the collar. |
