The Zwanghaft redesigned for 2007. It deserves a new name - The HD.

Great for fashion or escape challenges

 The Latex HD - LSJ-1

  • .040" thick latex gives a sense of weight and security;
  • 1.5" Side and Front Loops in reinforced latex;
  • 1.5" removable latex collar on XS-M size; ML - XXXL collar optional
  • Double 1.5" latex crotch straps;
  • Belts are glued and sewn through the straitjacket to reinforced latex backing, the sewn areas are then covered with latex tape for an all smooth latex shiny interior.
  • Back zipper entry  with 4 - 1.5" latex belts, for looks and minor size adjustment, also aids in preventig escape possibilities;
  • Nylon side release adjustable contoured buckles are used for belts, these are much more difficult to open than a conventional roller buckle or pivot jaw buckle. Locks are no longer essential to prevent escape;
  • Longer length than a regular straitjacket, (5" below navel);
  • Three sleeve loops, one on either side and one in the centre;
  • 1.5" belt for sleeve ends;
  • Sewn, and reinforced at stress points.
  • Made to your measurements

What is new or redesigned in our latex HD Straitjacket ?

  • 1.5" metal Roller buckles and 1" locking roller buckles in our Zwanghaft or Masterjack offered a possibility of tears or punctures to the latex, our new Nylon side release buckles are contoured and smooth illiminating tthe chance of a rip from a buckle snag or puncture.
  • Nylon side release buckles are fully adjustable,  fast and easy to release by the safety, yet once sized for the escape artist they do not require re-adjusting each time the sj is put on.
  • Sleeves are a closer fit  reducing bulk and adding comfort.
  • Why sew latex?  Is glue not good enough? Why not use rivets like many other competitors?
  • Glued seams under stress and warmth can migrate or separate unless reinfiorced in some way. Sewing fixes the layers and prevents migration and separation. Using rivets is not a great idea except for non stress uses. Our sjs are built for modest energetic escape challenges and need a means of keeping belts and buckles in place. Our experience in repairng many competitors' rivetted seams and belts  taught us to seek out better seam holding techniques through sewing.

    Care and Cleaning

    Care and Cleaning Notes Latex material requires special care and maintenance, especially the straitjacket. Be sure to hand wash in mild soap and cool or warm water after each use. Perspiration left on the straitjacket will deteriorate the latex. Hang to dry for at least 24 hours, then use a water based silicone treatment or unscented powder to protect the latex. Store in a protective air tight bag away from heat. If stored in open air be sure to silicone the surfaces monthly to protect from oxidization which may dull the surfaces permanently.

Value Made Caught-In-The-Act Latex SJs

  • Our latex straitjacket is made to last.
  • The design offers less chance of belts coming  apart or tears at attachment points.
  • While we make custom fashion straitjackets for model use only, the fashion straitjacket like many latex sjs sold for $450.00 or more cannot stand up to aggressive use.
  • Unlike the fashion straitjacket our LSJ-1 is sewn into reinforced latex at attachement points.
  • Our latex sj has thicker latex  a .040 thickness for the body of the sjs.
  • Seams are taped  to add strength.
  • A straitjacket comparison by weight tells the story. A typical fashion straitjacket by a competitor valued at $450.00 weighs 1.7kg, our LSJ-1 weighs 3.7 in the same size.
  • Our straitjackets are made to measure, not a stock one size fits all item.
  • Our straitjackets may appear to cost more, but we believe it costs less for the quality and value built into our sjs. Yes there are some great quality straitjackets in the market place priced from 850.00 - 1500.00 and up. Our equivalent latex sjs are $650 - $755 typically - and we believe that is very good value.
