Important Safety Warning: It is not recommended to attempt to go solo in a back or front zip body bag using the internal sleeves. Comments have been received to indicate that you might get in but you cannot get out because no matter how you do up the zipper, it needs external help to undo. Trying to tear the bag as an emergency means of escape is not easy to do, if at all. Be Safe in practicing your escapes. |
| Special caution on the use of dry suit or gasproof zippers. These zippers may easily jam into latex flaps, and are very difficult to release. Never go solo in a vac rac or bodybag using gasproof or dry suit zippers because you might get in but there is a good chance you may not get out. |

The thick latex tactile sensation is amazing. The Psychovac can give you limited ability to move when belts and tie-downs are used. Immobility heightens most sensory deprivation experiences. |
What makes these Caught-In-The-Act Luxury Latex Vacuum body bags so special? Caught-In-The-Act got the idea for a vacuum bodybag from VacmanVT. VacmanVT (Rubberzone) designed and made a few for his use and Max Cita was delighted to try out a later model made by rdude. Convinced this experience would be a great one Caught-In-The-Act designed a heavy and tactile sensation the PsychoVac. First the material is a latex that Caught-In-The-Act has custom made, shiny inside and out, thick .040 - .045 usually, anti oxidant and UV protected for longer life. So how thick is that .040". Average bodybags sold by others range from .013 to .020 in thickness, yes some are heavier but most are thin. Our latex material for the PsychoVac is the same as that we use in all our latex products. Our heavy latex has an industrial feel of not only a firm smooth stretchy texture but also a sense of weight. These Caught-In-The-Act PsychoVac Bodybags average 7 kg compared to just 2 kg for those regular bodybags made by others. The thick Caught-In-The-Act latex bodybag has double taped seams, the sleeves are shaped for comfort but limit movement so that long term endurance use is possible. The zipper is a BDM gas proof dry suit style zipper 58" long making entry and exit relatively easy. The neck seal is a thinner .020 latex that seals around the neck without choking. The foot box is a new design that adds enough room to allow feet to - toe-in or toe-out and have heels apart - something important to have for long term use. The optional side loops are reinforced latex, again a Caught-In-The-Act exclusive material, The optional side loops allow for 2 " belts to be held in place. The loops are sewn and glued with reinforced backing with a third layer of latex to seal over the attachment and keep the bag air tight. The shoulder d-rings - the very thick reinforced latex shoulder straps are attached in a similar manner to the side loops. Overall the sensation in using the bag is that of heavy smooth latex that when vacuum is used presses tightly against the skin making for little movement inside the bag. Your choice of hoods can add to the sensory deprivation experience or order one of our many thin or triple thick hoods or gasmasks for a total body encapsulation in latex. |

The PsychoVac - LPVB-01 This .040" latex bag has internal sleeves for arms and hands; reinforced seams inside and out for durability; Gasproof rear entry extra long BDM drysuit zipper; Vacuum exhaust clip accessory is provided to attach to the Shraeder exhaust valve. A good vacuum suction works best, vacuum not provided; A separate hood or gas mask can be added over the neck seal (similar to a dry suit) opening on the bag; The PsychoVac Is not escapable, used for relaxation and sensory deprivation long or short term; More Options: you can choose latex or nylon belts with d-rings, belt loops sewn on the bag to keep belts and d-rings from slipping, add a convenience gasproof zipper too. |
We have given tryouts to many and so far all the smiles tell us they really like it. The Psychovac is a luxury bodybag that can be used either as a vacuum bag or inflated. However inflation offers only minimal sensation even when latex clothing is worn. If long term experience in a bodybag interests you then a convenience zipper is a good option to add. Safety Issue Why not attach a hood and have the head as well as the body vacuum tight? From experience we find a condition called reverse ear squeeze a common medical difficulty that could lead to extreme pain and perforated ear drum. Hence why the neck seal separates the head from the vacuum portion. A hood can be added and sealed to the bag but the expense of a form fitting hood is very high as we make the hood totally sealed into the bag neck seal - not just a pull on hood. |
How do you get in this great latex sensational escape device?

Easiest is to start seated, wear latex or not |
We find head entry first makes it the easiest entry. Find the inside of the neck seal with your hands and then get the neck opening over the top of your head |

Keep the back zipper opening centered in front of you |
Using gentle pressure pull the neck seal down and over the head |
 |
 |
Once over the neck adjust the neck seal so that the seal is tight at the neck. |
You will need a good powder coat on the arms and the inside of the Psychovac bodybag sleeves as the arms will rotate in the sleeve. If the arms get sticky the rotation is nearly impossible. |

Insert one arm as far as it will go |
The zipper and bag need to rotate around the arm so that the zipper is at your back . You need the arm to twist in the sleeve in order to get the bag to go over the shoulder and position the zipper in the rear. |

Once this arm is in and the bag turned over the shoulder then do the same for the other arm |
Best to have a helper find the sleeve opening and slide the arm in gently do not force it in. |

With the arm in the sleeve rotate the bag over the shoulder. The sleeve will need to turn 90 degrees so make sure the arm does not get stuck as the bag turns over the arm. |

The 2" Nylon Belt is a very strong no stretch webbing the same webbing as used in a scuba divers's weight belt, the buckle is a nylon side release adjustable buckle. A pair of d-rings and clip come with each belt. For tall people 8 belts may be recommended or desired at added cost |

The 1.5" Reinforced latex belt is approximately 0.95: thick and uses the nylon side release buckle and pairs of d-rings, These belts are not as strong as nylon belts but have a bit of stretch for comfort and feel. We think these feel better and last longer than biothane or butyl rubber belts. |

Along each side of the bodybag a Reinforced latex webbing is glued and sewn to the bag to allow for 7 -2" wide or less belts to be held in place. You can use you own belts or ones we offer in our option packages. Take care that leather belts may have oils that will rot the latex. |

Polymorphe hoods can be attached to the bodybag by modifying the neck and zipper to fit the neck seal of the body bag. The hood is completely sealed to the bodybag for an effective psychological effect of total mummification or encapsulation. While the concept is great the cost is very high due to the time and difficulty in modifying and sealing the hood to the bodybag. While we cannot recommend it there are those who are wiling to pay the extra for the total captive experience |
